Worm conveyor
Kolčava, Jiří ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of the assumption of the functionality of the screw conveyor depending on the angle of inclination, the determination of the main dimensions and the design of the drive of the inclined screw conveyor with the maximum angle of inclination to transport the glass crumb. This assumption is described on the basis of the accelerations that act on the elementary particle of the transported material. Subsequently, the conveyor is compared with a spiral screw conveyor. The construction part contains drawing documentation according to the assignment.
The screw conveyor for transport of grain
Pernica, Marek ; Jonák, Martin (referee) ; Řezníček, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with constructional solution and proposal of skew screw conveyor for transport of grain. In thesis is carried out calculation of main parts of screw conveyor, proposal of engine, proposal of enshrinement of screw, solidity review of screw shaft and solidity review of trough. Drawing documentation contains general device draw, subassemblies of all bearing lengths and welding subassembly of trough.
Prestressed bridge in Budišov nad Budišovkou
Topinková, Petra ; Zich, Miloš (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
This paper proposes main load-bearing structure for simple span concrete bridge across Budišovka river. Length of the construction is 18.8m. Three studies have been proposed and one of those was chosen for further processing. Selected study, prestressed concrete slab, was evaluated for ultimate and serviceability limit state according to recent European standards. Paper also includes visualizations and drawings.
Advanced registration of image sequences from video-ophthalmoscope
Dufková, Barbora ; Chmelík, Jiří (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the issue of registration of ophthalmic video sequences. It describes basic geometric transformations that can be used for registration. The basic methods of image registration are also presented, from which the most suitable variant for this application is selected. This is then implemented using a script created in the MATLAB environment. The proposed method is further evaluated objectively using the brightness profile method, using mutual information and correlation, and using retinal vessel skeleton. The effect of polynomial transformation on registration and possible optimizations of the algorithm are discussed.

Geometrical Image Transforms
Němeček, Petr ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with acceleration of geometrical image transforms using the GPU and NVIDIA (R) CUDA TM architecture. Time critical parts of the code are moved on the GPU and executed in parallel. One of the results is a demonstrational application for performance comparison of both architectures: the CPU, and GPU in combination with the CPU. As a reference implementation, there are used highly optimized routines from the OpenCV library, made by the Intel company.
